Presentation of “Upgrading Tourism Services to Islamic Visitors” on December 4, 2012

A presentation regarding the “Certification of Halal Food” was presented by the Chief Iman of “The Incorporated Trustees of the Islamic Community Fund of Hong Kong” and President of International Islamic Society was held at Stanford Hillview Hotel. The event was jointly coordinated with Uni Asia Tour, the major tour operators handled Islamic tourist from the region. More than twenty hotel groups and representatives in membership of the Federation of Hong Kong Hotel Owners attended the presentation.

The presentation assisted interest hotels to understand the Halal Food culture, elements and process which would enable hotels to obtain the Certificate from “The Incorporated Trustees of Islamic Community Fund of Hong Kong”. The Certificate would allow hotels to provide qualified Islamic food up to the requirement of Halal.
